Seed Saving: Health for the Future
Join us for an in-person seed saving knowledge share during Plants to the People! focusing on the herbs Herban Cura makes medicine with, this workshop will be a participatory, hands-on opportunity to learn techniques for seed processing, or preparing seeds to be stored for upcoming seasons. We will share in the stories of these plants, as well as lessons about how to best take care of them and save their seeds. This practice and knowledge exchanges ensures we can carry these seeds on for future generations, just as they have been passed down to us.
This in person knowledge share will take place during Plants to the People at Ilka Tanya Payán Park in Washington Heights NYC.
